We’ve been waiting for this moment for a while, and now Xiaomi has finally announced the price of the Xiaomi 13 Pro phone’s price in India. The lineup consists of three smartphones: the Xiaomi 13, the Xiaomi 13 Lite, and this new device, the Xiaomi 13 Pro. Xiaomi had previously declared that the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone would be introduced in India. At this time, it is unclear when the other Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will be released.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro sports a unique display compared to its siblings in the series. This is not just a difference in size, however, as this smartphone’s design is entirely different from the other two models in the Xiaomi 13 lineup.
The latter features a 6.73-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset has one primary core built on the X3 platform, two speed cores built on the A715 and A710 platforms, and three efficiency cores built on the A510 platform. The chipset works with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X (8533 Mbps) memory.
The phone comes pre-installed with MIUI 14, built on Android 13. It has a screen resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and offers 10-bit color depth with a 1,900 nits peak brightness level. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a triple-rear camera setup that Leica has tuned in the optics area. A large primary 50MP Sony IMX 989 sensor with a 1″ size constitutes the rear camera. The sensor features HyperOIS and has an f/1.9 aperture and an 8P lens. A second 50MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, OIS, and support for macro photos is included. An additional 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 115-degree field of view is included. It has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter for those OIS selfie moments.
Other features include a liquid cooling system, an in-display fingerprint reader, an IR blaster, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos. Hi-Res Audio certification and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance are some additional phone characteristics.
The phone has a 4,820mAh battery that supports wireless charging at 50W, wired charging at 120W, and backward wireless charging at 10W.
Pricing For Xiaomi 13 Pro
The single 12GB + 256GB storage version of the Xiaomi 13 Pro costs 79,999 (roughly $970) in India. It is available in two colors: ceramic black and ceramic white. The product will be offered on various websites, including Mi.com, Amazon, Mi Homes, and Mi store partners. The opening transaction is planned for March 10 at noon.
Customers have two launch deals to choose from. They can choose between a fixed discount of 10,000 rupees ($120) or an extra exchange bonus of 12,000 rupees ($145) on cards issued by ICICI Bank.
