According to the claim, the smartphone has been spotted with model number 2210132G. The BIS listing reportedly doesn’t mention the characteristics of the smartphone. The Xiaomi 13 series, which includes standard and Pro variants, is anticipated to launch in China next month.
The Bureau of Indian Standards certification website helps register products in India. In this case, we can expect the device to be listed on the website soon. A 6.2-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is scheduled for the Xiaomi 13. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage are said to power it.
The report also notes that Xiaomi will launch a new smartphone in India by the end of this week. The Chinese manufacturer might also find an affordable Mi TV variant.
The model number is interesting because it also mentions a launch in India. It’s unclear if the Indian launch is separate from the global release, but it’s a vital sign that something big is happening in the country.
