The Vivo X90 series will be a popular flagship phone this year with its unique design, brightness, and color. Vivo is trying to promote the series’ qualities by releasing a very thin phone with a wireless charger that charges the phone wirelessly up to 80% within 30 minutes. This time the new X90 Pro+, certified by 3C and with an 80W fast charge, has been announced.
For consumers to make sure their purchase is worth it, Vivo has certified the X90 Pro+ with the 3C standard. The phone has been tested in smartphone certification labs and got certification from China’s 3C website (via @ZionsAnvin), where they can get official accreditation on all aspects of its performance, including stability, reliability, and security.
The result led Vivo to release an official 80W fast charging wall charger that supports Quick Charge 3.0 compatibility and 5V/3A output, enabling faster charging speeds than standard chargers. Along with 80W fast charging, it supports 5G connectivity and 5.8G dual-band network connectivity. The X90 Pro+ has also been tested with its unique waterproof design and has been certified for IP68 ingress protection, which means it is protected against dust and water splashes.
A high-end flagship, the Vivo X90 Pro+, has a 6.4-inch full HD+ display, a triple camera system, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X90 Pro+ features an OLED capacitive touch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Gen 2 processor with an octa-core CPU.
The phone has a full-screen display with two stacks of speakers at both ends of the phone, along with an LED notification light at the top edge of the screen. Vivo has kept up with its ultra-thin notch design in this new flagship that is squeezed into an even slimmer frame for a premium look. The phone’s innovative UI enhances the experience of watching videos and gaming. The X90 Pro+ supports the Auto HDR function, which enhances videos and images with a brighter color balance.
The phone has a triple camera system at the back consisting of 12 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP sensors for wide-angle, telephoto, and depth sensors. The binocular mode lets users capture photos of slowly moving objects like children or pets with a single frame by switching between the two eyes. The Zen display fits into this notch design, which makes room for all the sensors and functions inside.
The device has a 4700 mAh battery and a 50-watt wireless charging solution called HyperCharge. The device will probably be backed by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage space, which is rare for smartphones today.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ comes with a triple camera system on the rear, which consists of a 50-megapixel, 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens along with 64-megapixel periscope lenses. These three lenses have been designed to provide users with pictures from different perspectives to give them the sharpest images, as well as HDR photos with natural colors and contrast in any lighting conditions. The phone also has AI camera features that intelligently enhance pictures taken indoors and outdoors.
According to leaks, it will probably come with features like an Emergency Response hotkey, face unlocks, and an artificial intelligence (AI) dual-sensing camera enhancement option to improve low-light performance.
So, these are just rumors. Let’s wait and see. This phone will probably be announced by the end of this year.
