Vivo is a multinational Chinese phone maker. However, it joined the telecommunications and electronic products sector with landline telephones and cellular telephones. Vivo now ranks amongst China’s top 5 most successful smartphone brands and has just launched Vivo Y31s.
The Vivo Y31s 5G has secretly made a debut in China by Vivo, and what’s so remarkable about this smartphone? It’s the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 480 chipset and is the only one so far. The chipset is from the Snapdragon 400 series but offers only 6 GB + 128 GB version that has been priced at ¥ 1,698 ($ 262) and is now available in the country for pre-order. The selling will commence on January 15 in China.
Vivo Y31s Specs
A dewdrop notch hosting an 8MP selfie camera is on the device. The smartphone has a reverse camera module configuration equivalent to the Vivo X50 series. A dual-camera system consisting of a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and an LED flash is seen on the backend of the device.
Fingerprint Sensor in Vivo Y31s
In the power key, the fingerprint sensor is found.
A 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:7:9 aspect ratio, 90.61 per cent screen-to-body ratio and 1500:1 contrast ratio in the new smartphone.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC with 6GB LDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage assists the device.
The phone is operating on Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 11.
Battery Performance of Vivo Y31s
The phone comes built with a 5,000mAh battery that allows 18W quick charging.
However, the size of the smartphone is 164.15×75.35×8.40millimetres and weighs around 185.5g.
Last but not least, the Vivo Y31s comes in three colours: Monot Color, Titanium Empty Gray and, Ruby Red.
