Vivo’s new X90 Pro+ phone is a flagship phone from the Chinese brand that features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Soc, Android 13. This phone by Vivo will have a lot to offer consumers.

The Vivo X90 Pro+ was first spotted on Geekbench in late November, but the company has not officially announced the phone, so it is taking this opportunity to elaborate on its features.

Vivo X90 Pro+

The most notable thing about this Vivo flagship phone is that it features the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which has a considerable performance gain and is built using TSMC’s 4 nm production node. It is excellent for high-performance day-to-day usage. It also comes with Android 13 preinstalled from day one, making it one of the first to come out with an up-to-date edition of Google’s operating system.

Performance tests on Geekbench have shown that this flagship device has achieved an average user experience score of 80%. It has three performance cores running at 2.02 GHz and four performance cores clocking in at 2.80 GHz. The X90 Pro+ (V2227A) achieved single-core scores of 1,485 and multi-core scores of 4,739. These results are comparable to other smartphones using the same chipset included in the benchmark.

The device will feature a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED E6 display with a possible resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. This smartphone will perform better with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1440 Hz high-frequency dimming. It will feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX578 portrait lens, dual LED flash, Face Unlock, IR for the bokeh effect, and gesture support.

There will be 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will also have a hybrid dual-SIM slot. It will support 80W fast charging with its 4700 mAh battery, which is quite huge. It will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. It is most likely to have the brand-new OriginOS 3.

It might also have features like a 32-megapixel selfie camera, AI beauty and portrait mode, an Ultra View 18:9 screen ratio, a fingerprint sensor under the display, a hole-type selfie camera, in-display IMX576 dual-lens optical telescopic cameras, and a light sensor under the display.

Since there are no official specs from Vivo yet, the X90 Pro+ will likely be released worldwide soon. Everyone will be able to buy it on Vivo’s official website or in retail stores across different nations. The company has not yet given an exact launch date, so keep checking for updates.
