OnePlus is planning to unveil its new tablet, the OnePlus Pad, later this month. The device has been the subject of leaks for the past few weeks, with information surfacing about its name and design. Well, we may finally have a release date for you!
Apple and Samsung dominate the tablet market with their recent releases. The OnePlus is expected to launch on February 7 and will be available in time. Along with OnePlus 11 smartphone series, the Pad tablet will also launch. At its February 7 event, OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus Keyboard, and OnePlus TV 65″ Q2 Pro in addition to the OnePlus Pad. The OnePlus Pad’s spec sheet has not yet been released by OnePlus.
The Chinese tech giant has now released the first official look at the giant screen device on board. With the fascinating tagline “Boxes come in various forms and sizes,” the company has posted a new image on its Indian website under the category of the “OnePlus Pad.”
A few weeks ago, a few images of what is said to be the OnePlus Pad leaked on the Internet. At that time, we saw the entire chassis, including its back, sides, and front. It was expected that the OnePlus Pad would be a rebranded Oppo Pad or Oppo Pad Air; however, because neither tablet has this rear camera orientation, the OnePlus Pad will likely be a brand-new tablet.
OnePlus Pad specifications
According to OnePlus, this version of the OnePlus Pad will be marketed as Halo Green and “blends the vibrancy of life with the vastness of space.” The company has not confirmed color options, but we expect another model to be available. According to OnePlus, the OnePlus Pad’s design features an aluminum alloy body and a cambered frame, making it comfortable to hold for prolonged periods.
If the picture is to be believed, it means that every detail revealed by the previous leaks and this one is accurate, thus making us confident about one thing – there’s no reason for us to doubt these leaks anymore. The tablet’s design seems genuine based on these new images and videos and confirms all previous rumors.
Camera of OnePlus Pad
There will be a single camera lens on the backside, while two in-ear speakers are positioned on the top left and right sides. On the front, a single-lens camera is also there, but it is hidden by the bezel that runs along the leading edge of the screen above the display. The power and volume keys are on the right edge of this tablet. Like most other devices, there is also a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the top.
There are no details of specs or pricing available yet. We’ll have to wait until OnePlus unveils the OnePlus Pad. More pieces are waiting to be uncovered as this leak is revealed, but we expect it to look something new and different.
