The Samsung Galaxy S23 is a recently leaked smartphone from Samsung that has not been released yet. The Galaxy S23 is said to be released in May 2019, according to The Korean Herald.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S22, which was released in February 2022. The device’s name is speculated to be “GalaxyS” or “GalaxyS23”, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 will feature a 6-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 1080×2340 display and is expected to have either 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256GB to 1TB of internal storage.
The models are expected to include the Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The colors are not yet confirmed but could be black, white, or blue.
According to some sources, the upcoming flagship will also have a MicroSD card slot but not a second SIM card. However, no official announcement from Samsung has yet been made about the new device.
It is expected to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, which is more potent than the previous generation’s Snapdragon 810. The upcoming phone is expected to be released with the software version of Android 13.
It will also have a fingerprint sensor, face recognition, and iris scanner, which allow users to get rid of passwords on their phones.
S23 Camera Rumors
The Samsung Galaxy S23 will feature a triple camera setup at the back for better shooting quality. Some rumors also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will feature a triple rear camera setup with a primary 200MP sensor.
The rear camera sensors on the Samsung Galaxy phone are similar to those on the iPhone 8 Plus, with one telephoto lens and two wide-angle cameras.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 may also have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and support Fast Charge technology. According to reports, the S23 and S23 Plus will have a 12MP front camera, while the S23 Ultra will come with a 40MP front camera.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra might have the best camera with a 10MP 10x optical zoom camera. Also, with a massive sensor resolution of 3800×3200 pixels and a 200MP camera (according to rumors).
The upcoming smartphone will run Android 9.0 Pie OS out of the box and be powered by MediaTek Exynos chips in Galaxy S23 units.
For improved battery life, the Samsung S23 Ultra may also feature a massive 5000mAh battery with wireless charging support, which is 5x better than the previous one.
It might even have a 4K display with 12GB of RAM. Exynos 2300 chips will be used in these models. It may support 60W super fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Release Date
Samsung is expected to officially release the smartphone sometime in February 2023, but no official announcements have yet been made. According to some sources, the Samsung Galaxy S23 may be announced in January 2023.
