The new Redmi Note 12 Turbo has allegedly been launched in China. At the end of October, the Redmi Note 12 series had its official debut in China. There are four models in the lineup at the moment. Tipster Kacper Skrzypek claims that Xiaomi might introduce a new Redmi Note 12 smartphone. The official name of this device will be the Redmi Note 12 Turbo (not to be confused with the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed). The device’s codename is “Marble,” and it will be a global model.
Furthermore, Xiaomi claims that MIUI 14, based on Android 13, will be pre-installed.
The device will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. These are the only specs that have been mentioned so far. Despite this, he doesn’t even say what specific chipset the Chinese company will employ.
The device might have a different name in other markets, but the “Redmi Note 12 Turbo” name does not necessarily have anything to do with its performance. For example, according to some rumors, the Chinese company might replace the Snapdragon 800 with the Snapdragon 710.
Looking forward to the Xiaomi 12 Series, the expected specifications of the Turbo could be similar. It might have a 6.2-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. The phone is supposed to be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage.
In addition to a dual-rear camera, the device might feature a 48-megapixel primary shooter. If this leak proves valid, we should expect the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo to arrive in the spring or summer.
