Redmi K60E Spotted on Geekbench with Android 12 OS and 12GB RAM
Redmi is expected to announce a new budget phone called the Redmi K60E, which is set to be released on January 12 in China.
The Redmi K60E recently appeared on Geekbench with Android 12 OS and 12GB RAM. It is a new product for the company and will be launched in about three months. According to the source, this new model will offer up to 2.2 GH. The benchmark score of this device looks promising—listing an impressive 961 points in the single-core test and 3123 in the multi-core test—although we’ll have to wait for actual real-world testing results before we know for sure.
The specifications of this upcoming handset include a 3,400mAh battery and an octa-core processor. There is no word yet on whether or not there will be any other features that distinguish it from the company’s current lineup of phones. We can assume that the Redmi K60E will support 5G networks, have a 120Hz AMOLED display, at least 67W of fast charging power, and a triple camera setup on the back.
It might feature a 6.67-inch display with full HD+ resolution and a metal body. It will probably be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, 12GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage memory. On the camera side, the handset will probably offer a 64MP primary sensor that supports optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor for additional zoom functionality. These specs ensure that the K60E will be one of the top smartphones on the market in terms of performance. It will also contain a 16-megapixel front camera for outstanding selfies.
The device will likely feature four cameras in total—two at the back, one at the front, and another on its reverse side—like some other Redmi handsets in 2019, including the Redmi Y5S Plus.
According to a previous report, “Socrates,” “Mondrian,” and “Rembrandt” are the codenames for the three Redmi K60 series phones: vanilla K60, K60 Pro, and K60E.
There are no updates for the release date of this device. But it is expected to be released in January 2023.
