OnePlus has been teasing its flagship phones a lot, and now it looks like they have revealed the global variant of their upcoming device. The OnePlus 11 is one of the most recent devices to be released in the OnePlus lineup. A lot has been made about how this phone is the most powerful smartphone on this side of that big and expensive wall. The device was already launched in China, but the global variant will be launched soon, in February 2023.
And if you thought that the device was going to be different from its Chinese counterpart, you couldn’t be more wrong. The phone has already appeared on Geekbench, and its results are identical to the ones in China. And that’s to be expected, as there’s no reason why OnePlus should have made any changes, right?
The model number CPH2451 of a new OnePlus smartphone has been discovered on the Geekbench benchmarking site. This is almost confirmed proof that this device will be the same as the Chinese variant, but with a different set of bands and a different set of software installed on it. The model number of the handset in China is PBH110. The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and up to 16GB of RAM.
The Geekbech score is 1,468 in single-core tests and 4,965 in multi-core tests which is quite impressive. Instead of the Color OS 13 seen in the Chinese model, the smartphone will run Android 13, which will most likely be covered by OxygenOS 13.
The display is supposed to be a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED LTPO 3.0 display with 2340×1080 Quad HD+ resolution and 570ppi density. The front camera also has a 16MP sensor but it’s accompanied by an LED flash so that you don’t need to use it at night or in dark environments.
The device will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS capability, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom located on the rear to capture amazing images and amazing video. The camera also supports 4K video recording and comes with a full HD 1080p screen that supports 240 fps slow-motion video.
The device is supported by a 5000mAh battery with OnePlus’ Dash Charge technology for the fastest charging ever. It supports LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage
As for the pricing of the device, we won’t know that until it launches in “global markets” later this year in February 2023 but China released theirs for 3999 Yuan. More details are yet to be revealed but what we know about the phone is a lot.
We will soon know more about the OnePlus 11 too, as the company allegedly launched the device in China, so get ready for our full review. The device is quite similar to its Chinese counterpart, and we are expecting nothing less from this new smartphone from OnePlus.
