Motorola is a company that has always been known for its superior quality. They were in the phone market before anyone else and continued producing top-notch devices yearly. The Motorola X40 is no exception to this rule—it’s a sleek phone with a fantastic interface, high-tech features, and a chassis that can withstand any use.
If you missed the last decade of MoMo’s legacy and you’re as much a fan of their style as we are, rejoice! Motorola is back in all its glory. The newest addition to their impressive lineup is the Moto X40, which will be released on October 1st.
The full specs of the new phone have been revealed, and we’ve never been more excited to share them with you. The Moto X40 features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, LPDDR5X RAM, and an 18:9 display with a 1ms response time for incredible performance that will help make your gaming experience fast and smooth. The phone is made for an immersive gaming experience with quad-curved display corners.
Display
The Moto X40 features an incredible 6.73 inches (17.09 cm) curved AMOLED display with Quad HD+ 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (not to mention a nearly notch-less design). It features a 1 ms response time as well. It also has a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Camera
The Moto X4X40’s single camera is the highlight of this phone. The Moto X40 will come with a 50 MP primary camera, a 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera, a 5 MP Macro Camera with an f/1.8 aperture and dual-tone LED flash, and an 8MP front-facing camera (with a 2x zoom).
It records videos at 3840×2160 @30 fps and has features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to Focus, and many more.
Battery
The Moto X40 has a 5,000 mAh Li-Polymer battery and supports fast charging of up to 68W.
Performance
The Moto X40 has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the best octa-core processor on the market. The performance with all these specs is excellent, and the battery can last you for up to 12 hours, depending on usage, so there’s a need for fast charging.
Connectivity
The Moto X40 has 4G LTE, VoLTE, and Dual SIM support and Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC protocols. It also has a USB Type-C connectivity feature and supports USB audio (3.5mm jack).
The rumors also say that the Moto X40 will launch at the Summit event from November 15th–17th. The complete specifications are yet to be confirmed and will be updated here when they are revealed.
