Motorola is on the verge of releasing its newest smartphone, the Moto Edge 40 Pro. Please pick up the phone for a new mid-range smartphone boasting some exciting features for its price point. The Moto Edge 40 Pro was recently discovered in the Geekbench score library.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro was supposed to be unveiled at the just-concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, but the device was absent from the Barcelona gathering.

The upcoming Moto Edge 40 Pro will be the rebranded version of the Moto X40, released a few months back in the Chinese market. The most recent development involves the marketing materials and design renders for the Moto Edge 40 Pro, shared on Twitter by known leaker Evan Blass.

The tipster revealed the colors of the upcoming Moto smartphone and showed the various color options you can choose from. According to Evan Blass, the Moto Edge 40 Pro will be available in mirror black and blue color options.

The Moto Edge 40 Pro specifications, including a curved display panel and chunky bezels, were leaked. The phone’s display looks to have a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a variable refresh rate. It will have a 6.7-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080) expected collection of 1.080 X 2,280 pixels with a pixel density of 402 pixels per inch (ppi).

Motorola is known for offering high-end features at affordable prices, and the Motorola Edge 40 Pro is no different. The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

A triple rear camera system, including a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization, will be included in the Moto Edge 40 Pro. Additionally, it has a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12MP selfie lens. Additionally, the phone has a 60MP front camera for taking photos and making video calls. The handset will come with the Android 13 Pie operating system out of the box,

It will launch with a 4600mAh battery capacity, which supports 125W TurboPower fast charging with a Type-C charging port. The device also enables 15W reverse wireless charging and wireless charging. It is expected to come with IP68 certification and is also dustproof.

The leaked rendering suggests an IP67 or higher rating by showing the phone fully submerged in water. Other feature includes Dolby Atmos support and dual speakers for the best sound experience. The Moto Edge 40 Pro will be released on the market very soon.
