So, Apple dropped the macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4 betas earlier this week, but still, there are three new iOS features expected for iPhone this year that is supposed to include support for Driver’s license in the Wallet App.
Some of the probable features that are planned in the next release
1 – Driver’s licenses in Wallet App –
For convenience and contactless mode of carrying the Driver’s license, Apple came up with Driver’s license in Wallet App on their iPhone and Apple Watch that would help them display their identity proof and Age conveniently when required.
Lately, Apple conformed that Arizona and Georgia would be the first states to support this feature. Also, the following countries would be Connecticut, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah. Some states like Colorado, Delaware, Florida, and Louisiana already have their ID Apps but can also work with Apple.
2 – Square- Like Payments –
Recent reports say Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman stated that his team has been working on a new feature that would allow iPhone as a payment terminal and would not need any additional hardware (more like popular Square Reader).
The feature would allow one iPhone user to accept payments when the other iPhone user or any credit card holder taps their card on the back of the iPhone.
The software update was rumored to come with an update in iOS 15, but it is more likely to announce as a feature or a part of iOS 16 at WWDC in June.
3 – Apple Music Classical –
Recently, Apple announced coming up with a plan to launch a dedicated classical music app in 2022. This would combine Primephonic’s best features along with additional benefits. Apple Music subscribers will be able to use the app later this year.
