iQOO 11 5G

iQOO’s next phone, the iQOO 11 5G, is set to be released by the end of 2022, according to rumors. Aside from that, news has been steadily coming out about this device, including not only its specifications but also some of its color options. The company plans to launch two different models, the iQOO 11 5G and 11 Pro 5G– one with a 6.75-inch display and another with a 6.4-inch display. Both devices will have an in-display fingerprint sensor powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC mobile platform.

In addition to the new flagship chipset, iQOO’s upcoming device will also have an upgraded camera setup with triple rear cameras. LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage are also reportedly included in the machine. The new flagship device from iQOO is likely to be released in December or later, according to the release schedule provided by Global Sources.

Regarding the hardware, we still do not have the final confirmation of what it will pack. However, we can speculate that it will include the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset, which was recently announced.

This new chip has been claimed to have 40% power savings over its predecessor and unlock more than 60% more performance than the current SoC on mobile devices while providing a longer battery life. It sounds fantastic, but only time will tell whether this is true.

Display

The upcoming iQOO11 5G display is expected to be larger than its predecessor. Not only that, but the resolution is also likely to increase significantly. Rumors suggest the device will include a 6.75-inch display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels (QHD+) and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

It is also likely that it will have an AMOLED screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and will support mature 3D gesture recognition technology such as AirActive Touch and AirLift Display.

Camera

The iQOO 11 5G will also likely include a triple-rear camera setup. The three rear cameras will probably be of different sizes and have a 50MP primary camera sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

It is possible that the three rear cameras will have F1.5/F2.4 apertures, optical image stabilization, and a dual LED flash and shall support 4K video recording at 60 fps, full HD shooting at 240 fps, and slow-motion recording at 720p HD resolution.

The iQOO 11 5G should also boast 4K video recording capabilities for its front-facing camera. The handset will come with a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies.

Battery

The new iQOO flagship is expected to pack a larger battery than the one currently featured in the regular variant of the iQOO 11 phones. Based on the leaks, it has been claimed that the smartphone will pack a massive 5000 mAh battery unit.

The company claims to have incorporated numerous battery-saving technologies in its new flagship, including more efficient power management, software-based gestures, and AI-based tools.

Also, the Neo 7 SE is expected to have some of the same features, but the chipset will differ.

There is no official launch date or announcement by iQOO for its upcoming flagship model. We will update you with any more reports or leaks about iQOO 11 5G in the coming days.

Isle of Man Edition and Track Edition is the two colour options for the iQOO 11 launch. We see a Red Crimson Color in the leaked images.

Should You Buy this device?

The device’s specs are excellent, and the battery life is a massive boost, but there are many things to consider before picking up this phone. The price has not been announced yet, and since there was an earlier leak about this device, it is expected to be a little expensive.

With such a costly price tag for the device, you also need to consider that iQOO does not have an excellent record regarding its recent launches.
